Master Qiangba Luodan is an official inheritor of China’s intangible cultural heritage of thangka painting, and the son of Amdo Qiangba, a legendary grand master within China’s thangka heritage circle. As a young boy, he embarked on systematic training in authentic thangka painting under his father Amdo Qiangba, before pursuing advanced studies with multiple distinguished masters across the industry. In his artistic practice, he fully carries forward the core philosophy of the realistic integrated painting school pioneered by his father. Meanwhile, he consistently explores a harmonious balance between classic thangka aesthetics and contemporary artistic language, cultivating a distinctive painting style all his own.
His works inherit the refined, realistic artistic characteristics of the Amdo Qiangba School.
