Gongsang Quyin was born from her love and reverence for Eastern ethnic culture and the humanistic spirit of the Himalayas.
Traveling across the Himalayas and immersing herself in numerous heritage workshops, she experienced ancient crafts firsthand and listened to artisans’ stories. Deeply moved by the region’s profound heritage, authentic traditions, and pure beliefs, she resolved to safeguard intangible heritage and revitalize traditions.
She understands that many ancient crafts, preserved in workshops and time, remain largely unknown and face preservation challenges amid modern transformation. Yet this culture, rooted in Eastern philosophy and life aesthetics, is the gentle, resilient, healing essence the world longs to understand—it transcends language and resonates globally. Precious Eastern heritage deserves to be understood today, seen by the world, and preserved for generations.
